The gategourmet unit in Lima, Perú, has proudly served its esteemed partner, Delta Airlines, catering to their flights to Lima since 1998, showcasing a long-standing and successful partnership.
To provide insight into the elaborate culinary operations and exceptional services offered to Delta for their daily flights to Lima, the gategourmet team in Lima orchestrated a comprehensive tour of their kitchens.
The exclusive event welcomed regional executives of Delta, local journalists, and influencers, offering them a behind-the-scenes look at the meticulous preparation and presentation of the Delta One menu served onboard. This immersive experience allowed the attendees to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the dedicated efforts behind the culinary service.
The event celebrated Peruvian gastronomy and hospitality, showcasing the items used in the Peruvian menu, the special inflight meals, food quality assurance and safety measures, as well as the diverse range of events and services tailored to enhance the customer experience on Delta’s flights. The occasion began with an explanation of the operations, followed by a behind-the-scenes demonstration of dish preparation. Attendees were then treated to a lunch, allowing them to experience firsthand the diverse menu options available onboard.

They offered a detailed explanation of Delta One’s culinary service, showcasing the main dishes that capture the richness of traditional Peruvian gastronomy and the expertise behind Delta’s inflight dining experience.
