GLATTBRUG, Switzerland. January 30, 2024: The new brand Iryo began operating its high-speed rail services in Spain in November 2022, and since then, the Gate Gourmet team in Spain has been delighting the palates of travelers across the Spanish geography.

Within the framework of Fitur 2024 in Madrid, Gate Gourmet had the opportunity to present this distinctive gastronomic philosophy at the iryo stand. During the exhibition days, Gate Gourmet provided culinary services at the iryo stand, offering visitors different menus and tapas that are currently part of the onboard menu on their trains. The Gate Gourmet barista team made a difference with their excellent hospitality services. As part of an entertaining and innovative program that Iryo offered to visitors at their booth, Gate Gourmet led several culinary workshops. Our chefs amazed the audience with a dessert show-cooking, and various tastings were arranged with some of our trusted suppliers. These included an original wine tasting by Gonzalez Byass, paired with excellent Ametller chocolates, a Bacardí cocktails masterclass, and a beer tasting by Mahou led by an excellent beer sommelier.
