deSter and Norse Atlantic Airways introduce a new sustainable tableware setup

Hoogstraten, Belgium, 7 December 2023 – deSter, a leading global provider of sustainable and innovative food packaging and serviceware concepts for the travel and foodservice industries, is thrilled to announce its partnership with Norse Atlantic Airways to bring new sustainable tableware to the airline’s Premium Class. This strategic alliance underscores both companies’ shared commitment to environmental responsibility while enhancing the inflight experience.

The newly launched tableware setup features wet-molded fiber (bagasse) casseroles with lids and bowls, complemented by bamboo cutlery. A reusable tray, designed for durability and reusability, accompanies these products, enhancing the sustainability focus of Norse Atlantic’s Premium Class service. Additionally, the collection boasts a 100% paper cup, certified by Flustix, ensuring the absence of plastic components, thereby aligning with the highest environmental standards.
