Job Summary

Driven by our continouos growth, we are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to be part of a highly motivated and industry leading team at gateretail.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will conduct data analysis to improve our supply chain operations. This role will help gate retail to increase efficiency and reduce costs. In this role, you should have an analytical skillset and strong commercial awareness. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential. Experience in logistics and supply chain processes would be advantageous

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the effective management of all product relating to crew drinks
  • Provide weekly reporting of crew consumption volumes to aid accurate invoicing and replenishment of product across the European network
  • Collaborate with Merchandising and Customer to ensure crew requirements are met in a cost & time efficient manner
  • Act as controller, coordinating all equipment/ad-hoc shipments between gateretail managed locations across the European network
  • Support planning and implementation of supply chain optimisation & improvement projects
  • Support root cause analysis, recommending improvements to tools and processes, ensuring the wider team are informed of all changes as required
  • Drive transport cost efficiencies through analysis of shipping modes and schedules
  • Support delist and ullage analysis, ensuring network inventory is appropriately balanced at all times
  • Maintain KPI reporting across Supply Chain, Operations & Merchandising
  • Assist with the documentation of department processes, in line with the business standard template
  • Provide cover to Supply Chain Analyst when required
  • Provide support with Merchandising activities when required

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Educated to Degree level, preferably in Business or Logistics
  • Supply Chain/Finance related professional qualification advantageous

Work Experience: 

  • Must have relevant experience in a similar role or field, preferably within an airline / aviation environment 
  • Understanding of supply chain processes essential (e.g. demand/supply planning, warehousing/transport management)
  • Proven experience in analysis and reporting
  • Retail or aviation experience desirable
  • Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment

  • Tenacious and determined with a proven track record in driving projects and objectives
  • PC literate with strong proficiency in MS-Office  
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English, 
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales, multi-tasking and prioritising as appropriate
